Fascination with Diamonds

Antwerp has been known as the Diamond Centre of the World for centuries. So it is hardly surprising that this city is home to the largest Diamond Museum in the world.

It is an 'image and sound' museum, a total and unique experience for the senses. Besides looking and listening, you actually find yourself immersed in the fascinating world of this magnificent little stone. The audio-guide enables you to visit the museum in the language of your choice and at your own level and pace. Experts and dilettantes will all find the answers they are looking for.

Moreover, many surprises await the visitor in the treasure chambers whose splendid collections of jewellery provide a picture of diamond jewellery from the sixteenteh century through to the present day (e.g. replica of the British Crown Jewels containing two of the world's largest diamonds: the Koh-I-Noor and the Cullinan i), including contemporary diamond creations.
