Daily we receive many
email messages from people asking all kinds of things. We always read all
incoming messages doing our best to help you. Sometimes our answers have
some delay because we have to contact other organisations from time to
time to get the information you need. If you don't receive any answer this
only means that we don't know the answer or we can't help you!. But we
will always try to.
Some frequently asked questions :
1. How do we get from Charleroi Airport
(Brussels South) to the center of Brussels ?
We suggest you consult the web site of the
Charleroi/Brussels South airport where you will find links concerning
transport to Brussels.

2. How do I find information about a
Belgian city or village ?
The best solution is to look up the
official web site of the city or the village. It is quite easy : you add
the ".be" extension in the URL of the village. That should mostly
do the trick. For example : if you want to find the web site of the
village of Waasmunster just type :
www.waasmunster.be
In any case, we include a (non-exhaustive)
list with direct links to several Belgian cities and villages.

3. How do I get from Brussels (or
another city) to the village I want to visit ?
Belgium has a widespread network of
public transport. We suggest you go to any of the train stations in
Belgium where the people have all the necessary time tables and train
schedules to help you out.
If you plan to go by car you can use the excellent MAP24 Route planner for
Belgium. Click here !
4. My great-grandfather /mother came from a village in Belgium. How can I
find out if some of my relatives are still living there ?
Unfortunately, we don't have the time and
the means to look this up for you. We suggest you contact the web site of
the village (see question 2) or address your question to the "Genealogy
Belgium Roots project".
