The museum is located in a historic hospital complex. Its numerous paintings and sculptures alone are worthy of a visit, but the museum also contains furniture from the Gothic to the Baroque era, Bruges tapestries and a major collection of silverware.

The adjoining church has one of the Bruges finest Baroque interiors and houses a further wealth of art treasures.
